Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the website published at toolzkit.online, including all tool pages, category pages, guides and informational pages. It describes what information reaches us, what remains on your device, and what choices you have.

ToolzKit is operated by an independent publisher. We do not claim any corporate registration, office or staff beyond what is stated here. For any privacy matter, the contact point is info@toolzkit.online.

Tool inputs and files

The text, code, numbers, colours and files you enter into a ToolzKit tool are processed by JavaScript running inside your browser tab. That content is not transmitted to our servers, is not written to a database, and is not retained after you close or reload the page.

This is a consequence of how the tools are built rather than a promise we ask you to take on trust: you can confirm it by opening your browser's network inspector while using any tool and observing that no request carries your input.

If a tool in future requires a server to complete its work, that tool's page will say so explicitly, state what is transmitted, and this policy will be updated before the tool is published.

Local browser storage

ToolzKit uses your browser's local storage for three small preferences only:

• ·Your theme choice, so the site opens in dark or light mode as you left it.
• ·A list of tool addresses you have opened recently, so the command palette can offer them again.
• ·A list of tools you have marked as favorites.

What local storage never contains

We never write tool input to storage. Passwords, tokens, keys, hashes, documents and pasted text are held in memory only for as long as the page is open. The stored values are limited to short tool identifiers such as 'json-formatter' and the words 'dark' or 'light'.

You can clear this data at any time from the All Tools page using the clear buttons for favorites and recent history, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Local storage is not readable by other websites.

Cookies

ToolzKit does not set tracking cookies and does not use a cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Preferences are kept in local storage rather than cookies. The Cookie Policy page describes this in more detail and explains what would change if that ever stopped being true.

Server logs

Like every website, ToolzKit is delivered by a hosting provider that records standard request information: the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing outages.

We do not combine that log data with any other information, do not use it to build a profile of you, and do not sell or share it. Retention is governed by the hosting provider's ordinary log rotation.

Analytics

At the time of writing, ToolzKit runs no third-party analytics script and no advertising technology. If privacy-respecting analytics are added later, this section will name the provider, describe what is measured and be published before the script goes live.

We will not claim 'zero data collection' while running any measurement or advertising technology.

Advertising

The site currently displays no advertising. Should advertising be introduced, this policy will be updated first to identify the network, describe the cookies or identifiers it uses, and explain the choices available to you. Advertising will never be placed over tool controls or designed to attract accidental clicks.

Third-party services

Pages are served from a hosting provider and static assets are served from the same origin. The tools themselves make no third-party API calls. External links in the guides point to reference material and are marked as links; visiting them puts you under the destination site's own policy.

Children

ToolzKit is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because tool input is never transmitted, the most sensitive category of data simply does not exist on our side. Cryptographic tools use the browser's built-in Web Crypto implementation, which requires a secure context.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to info@toolzkit.online rather than disclosing it publicly, and allow reasonable time for a fix.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data about you. Because ToolzKit holds no account records and no tool content, in most cases the only data connected to you is transient hosting log data.

You can exercise the practical equivalent of deletion at any time by clearing your browser's site data, which removes every preference ToolzKit has stored. For anything else, write to info@toolzkit.online and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page is updated and the change is described in the relevant section. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to you.
