ToolzKit tools are built carefully and tested, but they are general-purpose utilities. This page explains the limits of what their output can be relied upon for.
General information only
Everything on ToolzKit — tool output, guides, descriptions and FAQs — is provided for general information. It is not legal, financial, security, medical or professional advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances. Where a decision has real consequences, consult someone qualified in that field.
Accuracy of results
Tools are tested against representative input, but no software is free of defects and no test suite covers every case. Unusual encodings, extremely large inputs, malformed data and unfamiliar locale settings can all produce results that differ from what you expect.
Always check output before using it somewhere it matters — a production database, a published page, a financial figure or a legal document. If you find a result you believe is wrong, please report it so it can be fixed.
Calculators
Percentage, date, unit and aspect-ratio calculators perform straightforward arithmetic and display their working. They do not account for tax rules, rounding conventions specific to your industry, business-day calendars beyond the options offered, or regional measurement standards that differ from the international ones used here.
Security and cryptography tools
Hash generators, password generators and token generators use the browser's Web Crypto implementation and are suitable for ordinary use, but they are not a security audit. MD5 in particular is retained only for checksums and legacy compatibility; it is cryptographically broken and must never be used for passwords or signatures.
Generating a strong password does not make an account secure on its own. Reuse, phishing and missing two-factor authentication remain the dominant causes of account compromise.
Formatters and converters
Formatters reshape whitespace and structure; they do not verify that your data is semantically correct. A JSON document can be perfectly valid and still be wrong for your API. Converters between formats necessarily make choices — how to flatten nesting, how to infer types — and those choices are stated on each tool page.
No guarantee of availability
ToolzKit may be unavailable, slow or partially broken at times. Tools may be changed or removed. Do not build a critical workflow on the assumption that a specific page will always exist in its current form.

No affiliation claims
